AN EMPLOYABILITY service led by Barnardo’s Scotland has helped dozens of younger folks throughout Perth & Kinross into work and additional training.
The youngsters’s charity leads Employability4All, which works to make early interventions for susceptible people and households.
The initiative focuses on lifting households out of poverty, lowering little one poverty, and lowering in-work poverty and the incapacity employment hole.
The service, which was run collectively by Barnardo’s Works and ENABLE Works with funding from Perth & Kinross Council’s ‘No One Left Behind Problem Fund’, delivered a versatile mannequin of employability help.
Among the many teams supported by the service are college leavers with no constructive vacation spot; jobless care-experienced younger folks aged 16 to 26; younger folks with different protected traits aged 16 to 29; and people aged 16-67 with a incapacity or well being situation.

One participant is Sam, who began with Employability4All after leaving college as a result of she didn’t really feel secure there.
She withdrew from college and was home-educated for about 18 months, saying she felt supported and assured partaking with the Employability4All service.
