“It was a journey from hell” – Comic paperwork hilarious journey to Edinburgh Fringe

A COMEDIAN has shared her hilarious expertise of her time on the Edinburgh Fringe after the “journey from hell” to attend her reveals on the pageant.

Ayamé Ponder had been making the journey as much as the capital final Wednesday for her comedy present Knock Knock in a packed practice with “everybody and their mom”.

The 25-year-old arrived flustered in Edinburgh, and had nipped out to the outlets when she was left greatly surprised by a well known native.

Footage reveals Ayamé from Brentford, West London strolling previous the Hilton resort in Edinburgh as she may be heard narrating the video.

She says: “I travelled to Edinburgh for Edinburgh Fringe Pageant and it was a journey from hell.”

The digital camera then pans to Ayamé trying depressing as she sits in a small seating aisle of her practice carriage.

The video reveals the remainder of the carriage, with rows of suitcases filling up the baggage rack above.

Teams of individuals will also be seen making their means all the way down to the carriage to fill within the final empty seats.

Ayamé says: “Everybody and their mom was on that practice they usually every introduced 10 suitcases with them.”

She then provides: “I needed to cry”.

The clip then cuts to a view of Waverley Station because the practice safely reaches its last vacation spot as Ayamé says: “For those who’re questioning why I’m there –”

She factors to the station: “–It’s as a result of I’m doing Knock Knock. It’s a present – a TikTok-sponsored present. Stand-up comedy. Who would have thought?”

The video then reveals Ayamé disgruntled as she faces a winding set of stairs as much as her Airbnb,

She grimaces as she explains: “Needed to journey up that staircase with my 12-tonne bag.”

Lightening the temper, she then reveals a small bouquet of flowers that awaited her contained in the flat, and says: “My administration despatched me flowers, how candy.”

She blushes as she reads the cardboard.

The cardboard reads: “Large congratulations to you, Ayamé. That is the beginning of nice, nice success. You’re gonna kill it. Go present them who you might be. Love out of your Vamp household xx”.

Ayamé then continues: “Beautiful Airbnb however no hangers.”

The digital camera pans throughout a floral-patterned rug to point out a naked wardrobe, while Ayamé lays out her palm in frustration as she says: “So, when it was time to unpack, I struggled there.”

Ayamé can then be seen journeying down the streets of Stockbridge as she says: “So, I went for a stroll to go and get some hangers.”

The footage then hilariously reveals one in every of sculptor Antony Gormley’s bronze statues within the Water of Leith – a part of Gormley’s 6 TIMES sequence well-known to Edinburgh residents.

Six of the statues are dotted down the Water of Leith as a way for measuring the depth of the river per every seasonal change.

The digital camera zooms in as Ayamé seems bewildered on the oddity.

She jokingly concludes the video: “I noticed this man within the stream, so I went residence.”

Ayamé took to social media on Wednesday to share her expertise of her journey to the Scots capital.

The video obtained over 8,800 likes and dozens of feedback from followers left in stitches by Ayamé’s vlog.

One individual wrote: “Unusual issues happen when the Fringe is on. Welcome to Scotland.”

One other mentioned: “That man within the stream in Stockbridge is actually a shock.”

A 3rd commented: “OMG, folks with like three enormous suitcases on the practice who insist on getting off first. What’s even in there? Why do you want all that?”

A fourth added: “OMG, I used to be strolling alongside that river and noticed the identical statue and it freaked me the f**okay out.”
