A SCOTS rugby-playing pupil has acquired a call-up to symbolize his nation on the Commonwealth Youth Video games in Rugby 7s.
Joe Townshend, who attends Strathallan Faculty in Perthshire, will kind a part of the primary Scottish Males’s Rugby 7s crew at a Youth Video games because the Isle of Man Video games in 2011.
Joe was already chosen for the Scottish under-18 crew earlier this yr and has mentioned it was a dream come true to play for Scotland within the upcoming Rugby 7s.

Joe, who first began enjoying rugby when he was 7-years-old, fell in love with the game at Belhaven Hill Faculty earlier than shifting to Strathallan in Third Kind.
Now, a Strathallan Rugby Academy participant, Joe relished the problem of transitioning from the normal 15s sport to the lightning-fast 7s format.
