Scotsdistillery awarded 5 stars by VisitScotland amid £185m funding

A SCOTS distillery has been named a 5 star attraction by VisitScotland following a serious funding in its customer expertise.

VisitScotland – Scotland’s nationwide vacationer board – awarded Talisker 5 stars as a part of its High quality Assurance Scheme which recognises venues throughout Scotland for assembly and exceeding excessive ranges of providers and services.

The Talisker customer expertise was reworked as a part of Diageo’s £185m funding in Scotch whisky tourism, which got down to put Scotland on the forefront of world meals & drink journey.

Talisker has obtained the highest highest customer attraction score, which was formally handed over to the distillery staff by Richard Lochhead, Minister for Small Enterprise, Innovation, Tourism and Commerce throughout a go to to Skye.

Tourism Minister Richard Lochhead mentioned: “Whisky is a major contributor to Scotland’s economic system because the main single foods and drinks product export.

Rob Dickson, VisitScotland’s Director of Trade and Vacation spot Improvement, added: “This award displays the key funding by Diageo within the customer expertise on the distillery.”

Diageo is the main operator of Scotch whisky customer points of interest with Johnnie Walker Princes Avenue in Edinburgh and 13 distillery customer experiences the size and breadth of Scotland.
