SCOTS FARMERS have been celebrated within the capital over the weekend at a particular Thanksgiving service to have a good time the exhausting work of the harvest.
The service, organised by the Royal Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) came about on Sunday at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh.
The service gave thanks for an plentiful harvest and raised consciousness concerning the significance of Scottish agriculture and pay tribute to the hardworking farmers who make all of it doable.
Seasonal vegetables and fruit have been additionally on show, generously supplied by native farmers from East and West Lothian.
The bountiful fruits have been donated to charities together with The Salvation Military, Cyrenians and Social Chew.
The mix and tractor have been supplied by RHASS Director Invoice Grey of Prestonhall Farm.
The Harvest Thanksgiving was led by Rev Sigrid Marten, Affiliate Minister of St Giles’ Cathedral.
